“I’m 78 and it doesn’t get easier accepting lifes changes.” – Betty

Met Betty on the 6 train. I found her so beautiful and wanted to share that with her. “I just want to tell you, You’re beautiful. I love the way you carry yourself.” It was for only three stops and we dove right into a deep conversation on accepting changes of life.

“You’re right, aging is beautiful. However, aging also brings physical changes that I’m not ready to accept. You see this? Doctors told me I need to use a cane. Instead I walk around with this shopping carriage for balance. It doesn’t get easier accepting life’s changes. I’m 78 and I’m still vain.”

She didn’t allow me to take a photo of her cane a.k.a shopping carriage. And, only allowed me to post this if she liked the photo, haha. Below are other photos that she liked but as she said “don’t love.”

Thank You for your Bendición of honesty Betty.
